Our client is currently offering the brilliant opportunity to train into the water sector as a Trainee Leakage Technician. This position is based out of their office in Chatham but will be covering the area of Kent generally -where ever the leaks in the network are.
As a brief overview, Leakage Technician’s use specific tools (such as listening sticks, CAT and GENY tools) to scan the ground and trace where pipes are in the Southern Water network. These can be general scans or directed by data indicating a leak or customer reporting. The role primarily is to pinpoint where the leak is and do the relevant paperwork and reports to enact a repair. Full training will be given for the various tests, procedures and tools required for this role.

25+ years old: £9.42 per hour
21-24 years old: £8.84 per hour
18-20 man years old: £6.97 per hour
Overtime is possible dependent on availability
