Highfield Professional Solutions have the pleasure of representing a Chartered Surveyors practice in Hampshire, who are an independent partnership of residential and commercial property consultants and surveyors. They offer a high standard of general practice, building surveying and architectural services across Southern England.

A new vacancy has arisen for an experienced Architectural Technician to join the team.

Role: Architectural Technician

Contract: Permanent

Location: Hampshire

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 Negotiable based on skills & experience

The practice currently has a very experienced qualified RICS Architect in the department and are seeking someone to work alongside him. The existing architect has a sizeable portfolio of work so the right candidate will be able to work on their own initiative with little supervision and will be expected to manage their own independent workload.

This is an exciting opportunity that will offer the right candidate to make an impression, develop their own role and grow the architecture department.

You will have experience in CAD drawing, obtaining planning permission, have a working knowledge of building regulations, have the ability to take a client’s brief and produce drawings for planning approval, ability to network and win projects, in addition to dealing with existing projects. You will be required to work alongside the building surveying partner in meetings ready to answer questions on drawings both confidently and coherently.

Holidays start at 20 days per annum plus statutory, rising by 1 day each year after 3 years to a maximum of 25 days plus statutory each year.
