Highfield Professional Solutions have the pleasure of representing a leading independent, multi-professional consultancy practice working within the property, infrastructure and construction industry.

The practice provides the complete consultancy service needed to deliver property and construction projects. Delivered through 11 UK offices, the firm employs over 450 staff, and has operated for over 150 years within the UK property market.
Due to an increasing workload, a new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Director to join the London office and be responsible for leading Project Management within the firm.
About the role
The Associate Director will co-ordinate and lead the activities of team members. Responsible for giving direction to staff, monitoring project activities, project fee income and expenditure. You will ensure deliverance of business plan objectives. Support management of key national and regional project management frameworks. Liaison, engagement and support to Key Account Manager Role, develop business opportunities and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
You will undertake key business development activities including leading bid and presentation teams. Assist Partners to develop the ongoing strategy for Project Management within the firm, attending and contributing to senior management meetings
The Associate Director will perform regular review of staff performance including undertaking annual appraisals, setting objectives and managing any issues
The role will involve frequent travelling and require attending various sites as necessary which will involve flexibility of working hours.
Successful candidates will be Degree qualified with 10+ year’s relevant experience and will of achieved relevant professional qualification (MAPM, MCIOB, MRICS, Prince 2). Current membership of a construction related professional body such as RICS, CIOB, APM, etc. You will need significant experience in a similar role ideally in a consultancy environment and comprehensive knowledge of building technology and construction principles.
It is essential to have a clear understanding of risk management and forms of building contracts (including JCT and NEC3)
