Electrical Contracts Manager – Residential

About the role
You could become part of a major Building Services Company managing the delivery of multiple electrical contracts across the division’s new build housing operations. The role will be a regional role covering along the M4 Corridor preferably Reading, Newbury or Swindon

We are looking for a time served Contracts Manager with an experience Electrical Background who has experience managing multiple new build projects. Due to the nature of this role, you must have a Full UK driving License.

Essential qualifications relevant to the role:

  • NVQ 3 or City & Guilds equivalent in electrical installation, 17th Edition and inspection and testing
  • Extensive knowledge of current IEE wiring regulations BS7671

About you:
To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • You will need to have an electrical background with a minimum 5 years proven site experience from an electrical base managing high production new build housing projects
  • Positive management attitude and confident leadership skills with a proven track record in achieving project targets and deadlines when under pressure

The Role:

  • Manage, plan and execute all site activities in conjunction with site teams & client requirements
  • Maintain the delivery of quality electrical services on multiple new build housing projects
  • Project control of budgets, specification and materials to match the client’s programme
