The work that the Project Engineer will be involved with will include refurbishing, replacing and improving our mechanical assets on existing clean water treatment works and distribution network implementing new technologies, and developing solutions / designs with key stakeholders and partners. You will also be responsible for Project management of both designers and framework partners in a collaborative manner to deliver efficient solutions, and improving the operational efficiency of works, whilst ensuring we maintain our high levels of customer service and health & Safety standards.

Engineers have to constantly address new challenges and problems, caused by global warming, ageing infrastructure, population growth and the desire to improve living standards.

The new member of our team will work at all times within our values of excellence, respect and integrity, will be self-motivated, show initiative and commitment to positive, proactive health & safety. They will also need a full UK driving licence as the role will
require travel to various water sites. The successful applicant will be required to undertake our Driver Assessment. We are looking for an engineer that is qualified to degree level and is looking to progress their career and having chartered status or
working towards their professional review. Experience of project management and a good knowledge of 2015 CDM Regulations is required. They also need to demonstrate an ability to use their initiative to resolve issues and drive a project to a conclusion.
