Mobile Lead Engineer – (North London) – £32,000- £34,000

About the role

An opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Lead Engineer to join an expanding contract based in North London

You could become part of a major service provider looking after a High value client in the North London Area, the role will involve working on multiple sites.

The working hours are 7.30am to 4pm equating to a 40-hour week.

The job is more so going to be focused on assisting the M&E Supervisors and covering them when on leave.

Mechanical and Electrical knowledge are both equally as important.

Job Purpose:

To ensure that the delivery of skilled aspects is performed in an effective, efficient and professional manner and to the complete satisfaction of all the companies direct and indirect clients.

To provide technical support to buildings and plant, planned maintenance and reactive repair service to clients.

To support the Site Safety, Health and Environment activities.

Principle Accountabilities:

*Provision of maintenance services to all aspects of asset and plant across the site including repair and planned maintenance work

*Responsible for the technical team when supervisors are absent

*Provision of support for the operation & organisation of the matching skilled services team

*Ensure continuity of essential site systems and equipment.

*Ensure that all plant and systems are maintained and operated in order to provide maximum efficiency, availability and reliability.

*Carry out remedial and/or refurbishment works arising from breakdown or maintenance inspections.

*Respond to reactive maintenance/breakdown calls.

Person specification:

*Site experience and familiarity, this would include the respective critical plant/ assets

*High level of interpersonal and customer relationship skills

*Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities

*Influencing skills

*Ability to plan and organise

*Good, all round knowledge of skilled discipline (i.e. Electrical and Mechanical Engineering or Fabric Engineering)

*Be commercially aware

*Have good people management, decision-making and communications skills.

*Be resilient under pressure and be able to converse confidently with staff, suppliers and customers at all levels.

Other Factors relevant to the job:

*Willingness to be put on call under supervisory position

*Good, knowledge of Management disciplines in Electrical works

*Have experience in a Supervisory environment with Electrical works as a component responsibility.

*Be commercially aware and have a sound knowledge of budget preparation, negotiation and management.

*Have good people management, leadership, decision-making and communications skills.

*Be resilient under pressure and be able to converse confidently with staff, suppliers and customers at all levels.

Package:

In return for these skills there is a generous and highly competitive remuneration package on offer including basic salary of up to £34,000 + Overtime, Company Vehicle, holiday package, pension commitment and other company wide benefits.
