Highfield Professional Solutions are currently seeking a Project Manager to join an industry leading Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls & Automation business. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the installation, servicing and repair of electrical and mechanical installations as well as the design of control panels across a range of projects within the water and waste industry.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to a degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with demonstrable Project Management and Ideal water or Waste Water industry experience.
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for managing staff and subcontractors working on assigned MEICA projects, taking responsibility for the health & safety of self and all under your control, controlling project expenditure costs to maximise profitability and productivity, attending site meetings and program planning, promoting capability and developing opportunities. You will also be responsible for making decisions both small and large, in such a way that risk is controlled and uncertainty minimised, planning the work efficiently to meet agreed deadlines, ordering materials and ensuring that the correct materials are on site when required.
Other responsibilities will include –
* Proactively manage the impact on and protection of the environment
* Responsible for updating site documentation and adhering to agreed systems and processes
* Liaising with clients, resolving issues and developing new opportunities
