Job Title: Senior Property Manager

The Company

Highfield have a great chance to work for our client who is a well-established Independent Lettings Agency based in Southampton. They are looking for a Property Manager to join their team in Southampton to help manage a large portfolio of fully managed property.

The Role

* Familiarising yourself with and carefully adhering to landlords’ management requirements

* Organising safety inspections and flagging up repairs and contact the relevant contractors to complete the jobs, reporting back to landlords and arranging any necessary work

* Dealing promptly and courteously with communications from landlords and tenants * Responding quickly to a lack of security or essential services, as well as any potential dangers associated with a property

* Processing end of tenancy reports, liaising with utility companies, letting offices and client accounts departments to ensure appropriate charges are made while keeping records up-to-date

*Managing a team of property managers/assistants and allocating there work load and producing reports and giving feedback on there progress.

*Attending and preparing meetings (client) (company)

The Requirements

The successful candidate, Will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the Lettings industry and the ins and outs of property management and be aware of the current legislation’s. You must be a highly motivated individual and must be professional at all times with the self-confidence to deal with people at all levels firmly. You have to be organized, with an eye for detail and an excellent telephone manner is essential.

Minimum of 2 years senior property management experience preferably residential. Full drivers licence required.
