Senior Public Health Design Engineer
Contract – min 12 months’ work
We are currently looking to recruit a contract SENIOR PUBLIC HEALTH DESIGN ENGINEER with at least 5 years’ experience in the building services sector ideally with experience working directly with the client.
Highfield Professional Solutions are looking for a Public health Building Services Design Engineer to join our client’s team in Hampshire. You will work in a client facing role, attending design team meetings and managing your own deadlines. Candidates will be responsible for the below:
Experience in conventional building services design consultancy with knowledge of local authority and education projects.
Conversant with all aspects of mechanical & public health design including, heating, cooling, ventilation, above ground drainage (surface water and foul), hot & cold water supplies, compressed air.
High level of experienced in writing reports and specifications for RIBA 2 (Concept) and RIBA 3 (Developed) design.
Experience in producing mark-up layout drawings and schematics suitable for others to develop in Revit modelling/drawing software.
Quality inspections, dealing with contractors and report writing
Candidates should have the below experience:
At least 5 years experience in public health Design Engineering
Experience working on building services projects
Experience working on industry software such as HEVACOMP and AUTOCAD
Degree educated in Public Health, Mechanical Engineering, Building services engineering or architectural engineering
37 hours per week.
Rate circa £40-£45ph
