Sub Agent

Up to £55,000 Per annum

Highfield Professional Solutions are seeking a Sub Agent to work for a tier 1 contract based in Central London, the successful Sub Agent will have the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s leading infrastructure projects including the Thames Tideway and HS2. In order to apply of this position you will need to be qualified to a minimum of a HNC in Civil Engineering and hold a CSCS card, SMSTS card and be NEBOSH or IOSH certified, you will also need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication, people and team management skills with the ability to motivate others on site. The ideal candidate will come from a Civil Engineering, Tunnelling, Pipelines and Utilities Transport: Rail, Aviation, Waterways or highways background.

In this position you will oversee a number of small value construction sites, support the Site Agent/Project Manager on larger value schemes, in order to ensure delivery of projects to the customers specification, ensuring that health and safety and quality standards are adhered to.

Key duties within this position will include but not be limited to –

Site Management

Be responsible for the successful and commercial delivery of the project or contract

Manage project programmes and supervise the delivery of these schemes

Deliver engineering expertise and assist the project team and ensure that all staff, subcontractors and visitors are properly inducted, meet the required competencies and present the relevant qualifications and tickets

Create good quality, accurate monthly reports for the Client and lead weekly site meetings in line with Company and Site procedures

Gain all ‘as built’ information ensuring that its compliant and relevant to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality procedures.

Maintain and manage construction sites and subcontractors, developing positive working relationships

Oversee and ensure that all HSEQ-related documentation is kept up to date and briefed as necessary Ensure that daily, weekly and monthly inspections are carried out and all audits and reports are produced

Liaise with relevant third parties and government agencies Ensure that the QA file is produced and maintained

Monthly and weekly reporting timescales are met

The successful candidate can expect a salary up to £55,000 per annum plus package which will include, company car or car allowance, pension, private medical and healthcare.
